School Council

School Councils play a key role in Victorian government schools. Participating as a school council member is a rewarding and challenging experience. The School Council supports the principal to provide the best possible educational outcomes for students.

School Council oversees the running of the school.  It is involved in wide ranging decision making, involving educational policy, management, finance and environment issues.

Our School Council meets on a regualr basis, at least twice per term.  Opportunity exists on an annual basis for parents and staff to become involved as a school councillor with elections being scheduled each March.

Our School Council also has in place a sub-committee structure which presents an opportinity for involvement without being part of the decision making process.
